Alessa ignored how Thor stared at her, instead floating past the gate guards and immediately taking to the city. Bruce was too in awe of its splendor to notice Alessa grabbing various trinkets off windowsills and pathways to take apart and examine in between staring at everything around them.
“Earth must seem… unimpressive,” Bruce murmured, looking at the sky and the buildings and the technology all around them, because it had to all be technology that they just didn’t understand, not magic. Magic didn’t exist, just phenomena that they did not yet comprehend.
