JARVIS couldn't catch any of that on video. The static that rolled across the screen made Tony's heart just stop. "Banner...?" he asked, half a whisper. "Banner! JARVIS, I need bio signs--"

But JARVIS was offline and Tony was blind. He could feel his hands start to shake as he moved slowly to the physical screen he had set up on the wall. Pulling it from it's mounting, he tried to rewire it to pick up any signal at all but got nothing.

Tony turned on his heels and ran for the lab, sweating before he hit the landing on the way to the basement. He knew in the back of his head how badly this was going to go, but the people trapped in there were his family.

This had been his idea.

He couldn't kill them!
