It hurt. Tony didn't do well with denial, but Bruce didn't do well with depriving Tony. It frustrated him to never be satisfied, and it made him insecure to have it thrown in his face that Tony needed something he couldn't give.

So he rolled with Tony, running his thumb against the other man's stubble while kissing him. "Just because you can't go down lower doesn't mean I can't."

He wanted them to have something good and normal. He wanted to be able to please his boyfriend, to make him feel good and not be relegated to stroking himself in the bathroom. He wanted to be able to give him the one thing he would never measure up to any of his past liaisons with. Was that so much to ask?
