On the bright side, as toxic as Bruce's blood is, he's a terrible host for any bacteria. Don't think too hard about what his gut bacteria must be like. That way lies madness.

He leaves Tony with bruises to remember him by and then he sinks to the floor, still clinging to Tony, and slowly his breathing starts to even out, the shaking subsides, and the memories can be shoved into a deep dark well of self-recrimination along with all the other boogeymen.

Then he slowly releases his death grip on his friend and scrubs the tears off his face. "I'm... just going to get Kiara kitted up with another drone."
