When she nods, he mouths thank you before getting back to basking in Tony's delight.

"FRIDAY's done nothing to deserve that. I thought you liked her?" Of course he's a wonderful shit. Tony knows plenty of geniuses who aren't interesting enough for him to put this kind of effort into. It takes more than mere genius to get that, and Bruce knows it.

For his part, Tony is who Bruce could have been if his entire life had started differently. He admires his mind, appreciates his successes, and envies his ability to live that strut he's encouraged Bruce to have.

But would he say they're soulmates? It would probably explain a lot.
