Feb. 28th, 2016 10:35 amTony had planned to run for a very, very long time. After his parents had died and he was no longer under their protection to skip annual screenings, he had started to make plans to leave. The trouble was, having a silver spoon in your mouth at all times made the thought of leave the known world pretty awful and Tony, a creature of comfort by then, did not want to leave his home and his riches and his toys.
Uncle Obi shared his secret and together they kept the Stark Empire afloat. Tony was rich enough to pay off the yearly census. For awhile at least.
But that was before the Chitauri came and did what no one in the world thought was even possible in the days before they attempted to take over. They released bombs to kill Guides, specifically. Just like that, millions of Guides around the world perished.
If it hadn't been for the Iron Man armor, he would have died as well.
He'd only just met Steve Rogers, one of his father's friends during World War II, for mere moments before the hellicarier went to hell. He'd seen the way the Captain had looked at him, had smelled the air... It would have been impossible for a Sentinel to have known what he was outside of heat, but Steve was not just a Sentinel. And Tony knew he was in trouble even while he fought alongside the Captain.
Was it any wonder that Tony Stark was mysteriously gone before Loki was even captured or taken back to Asgard?

HAHA! Is that the eyeroll icon? I love it. Shoukd get Tony some newer ones.
Date: 2016-02-28 09:45 pm (UTC)Tony was forced to lay still. He could speak and yell, but nothing escaped the suit with the systems all down. That should give Steve all he needed to get Tony up and carried off if he wanted to go somewhere else for this.
So long as those discs were attached, Tony was literally going no where.
Haha! Yeah! "You just haaaad to ask"
Date: 2016-02-28 10:01 pm (UTC)Oh how the Sentinel in him would love to just have him right here. He was properly won. He would only really have to remove a few pieces of the armor. However, it was muddy and filthy. It would take a few days for the whole process to be complete and he wasn't entirely convinced there weren't other predators out here.
No, it was better to take him somewhere else.
"I'm bringing him in. Make sure my room is ready," he radioed and this wasn't going to be fun at all. He was going to have to carry Tony and the dead-weight of the suit out of here. It was probably easier than dragging a kicking and screaming Guide out of here, but only just. He did stop to rip Tony's other gauntlet off.
"Up you go," he muttered and he hauled the man in the suit over one shoulder with a grunt, then started back toward the jet.
no subject
Date: 2016-02-28 10:06 pm (UTC)His whole body shook, contained within that suit, as Steve lifted the massive weight of the armor and himself inside of it. Once in the plane, he was rolled onto his back and the agents made preparations.
"Are we going back to New York or Rio?" Both rooms were ready.
no subject
Date: 2016-02-28 10:20 pm (UTC)"New York," Steve said, eyeing the suit on the ground. He could wait that long. Anticipation was only going to make this better. Plus, they wouldn't have deal with transporting him again which was a definite bonus.
YOU HAVE THE BEST ICONS
Date: 2016-02-28 10:25 pm (UTC)Everything Steve would need to do this, from cracking Tony out of his suit, to nesting material, to bottles of water and lubrication, were all right within reach.
Tony had been sleeping until he was lifted again, not by Captain America but by a team of bonded Sentinels...the lucky ones really. They joked with their Captain about the festivities to come.
"It's all right if he cries," one was saying. "The fear doesn't last too long so enjoy it while you can, Captain."
Thanks :D
Date: 2016-02-28 10:54 pm (UTC)The room itself actually looked like a normal room. Well, besides the fact there were restraints everywhere and the door sealed itself behind the team of Sentinels as they left. Beyond that, it's clearly one of the living spaces at SHIELD that has been re-purposed for this.
Of course, since Tony is still stuck in his suit he can't see all of that or how Steve takes off his boots. He still has the bottom part of the uniform on but he needs to get the man out of his suit. He picks up the multi-tool and taps lightly on the face mask. "Still alive in there?"
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 12:05 am (UTC)Tony still hadn't given up. He wasn't going to let this happen to him. He'd bite the Sentinel's dick off if he couldn't do anything else! Let him bond without the sex and see where it would get him!
He was growling about it when Steve smacked his suit.
Shit. He hated him so much.
As soon as Rogers managed to get into the helmet, he was going to get a whole lot of cursing. That would be amusing.
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 12:15 am (UTC)It took him a few minutes of careful prying to pop the seam and yank off the faceplate. He tossed the piece in the box by the door. He would get rid of everything before he started.
"There we go," Steve said, then shifted to one of the man's feet and slowly started working there.
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 12:48 am (UTC)Maybe it wasn't the best thing to get the helm off first?
"You don't want me. I get that there's a huge Guide shortage right now? But me? You don't want me." He hissed and tried to rock the armor...somewhere. "I'm old. You're still...what? Twenty something? That would be dumb."
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 12:58 am (UTC)Maybe not, but he wanted to be able to talk to Tony. It was boring otherwise.
"Erskine did a lot of research back in the day," Steve told him, tossing more pieces of the armor toward the box. "More than likely, I would survive the death of my Guide. I'm not like other Sentinels."
He grunted and tore out some wiring that was in his way, then tossed that toward the box too. "Without a Guide, I have two years, if I'm lucky. SHIELD has been looking for a compatible Guide since they pulled me out of the ice. Their options just dwindled astronomically."

Date: 2016-02-29 03:38 am (UTC)Thousands of Guides for a million plus Sentinels, most of whom now no longer had their Guides. Not all of them went Berserk and killed each other.
Some hunted down the underaged, some killed other Sentinels to get at their Guides if they were still alive. It was bad in America and Tony had no real idea.
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 08:58 am (UTC)"It all adds up," Steve says, shaking his head. Tony wasn't understanding. The media was trying to keep people from rioting, especially Sentinels, once they realized just how bad things really were for them. "And I wasn't bonded during the war, but I had a Guide."
He growled in annoyance as he yanked more armor away from Tony and dumped it in the box. Once he was up to the knee on that leg, he switched sides. The longer this took the more impatient he was becoming.
"You have no idea," he told his Guide flatly. "None. You think the government can protect thousands of Guides from millions of unbonded or broken-bond Sentinels? What do you think is happening outside right now?"
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 11:25 am (UTC)"Fine. I submit. But it's Guide's choice. I get to pick my Sentinel, not the other way around. There the law, Rogers. So get the hell off of me!"
There had to be a beautiful scientist he could bond to. An engineer? He would take anyone female and doing work he could get behind. Not Steve. Not like this.
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 11:45 am (UTC)"See, the thing is, they make exceptions," Steve counters, blue eyes flicking up toward Tony's face and then shifting back down to be armor. "I'm an investment. They can't have Captain America going on a berserk rampage because they can't find a compatible Guide."
Seriously, how many pieces did this stupid suit have? This was going to take him forever.
"We're compatible, so why waste all that time and effort trying to find someone else?" he shrugs, that's just the way things were now. He didn't want to end up crazy or dead, or both. Survival of the fittest and all and let's be serious, Steve was the top of the food chain as far as Sentinels were concerned.
"And, you know, you're one of the smartest men in the world. They can't have you bonded to just anyone either. Why would they deny me my Guide when really they're getting what they want too?"
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 12:17 pm (UTC)"Because I'm still a human being and not a slave?!" Tony couldn't move his hip and so he couldn't get a kick in, but at least he could use this time that Steve was can opening him to work up a plan of attack for escape.
He finally took a look around the room and felt the color drain from his cheeks. Restraints... Restraints everywhere.
"What are you planning to do to me? You don't need any of this for a rape." Yes. Rape. Captain America was going to rape him.
In a surge of energy, Tony flailed up at Steve. Even if he hit him it wouldn't do much.

Date: 2016-02-29 12:50 pm (UTC)"You have been placed as a Guide by the government. Sometimes we ask citizens to make sacrifices for the greater good," Steve recited, sounding bored. If anyone ever asked, that was the explanation they were going to get. It wasn't interesting but it placate the media.
He tossed the multi-tool down in disgust. This was ridiculous. Surely this thing was easier to get out of than this? Tony would have built in some kind of contingency in case the suit lost power or he was severely injured and medics needed to get him out of it.
Steve decided to go over the rest of his suit, patiently and methodically, just in case there was an easy way to do this. He only raised an eyebrow at Tony's attempt at flailing.
He glanced up at the room at Tony's comment. He shrugged, "Someone apparently knows my tendencies. For some reason, they thought you might be difficult."
He chuckled, amused, and somehow it sounded terrifying. "I don't really need any of it but it does make the interesting things easier. I guess they just decided to give them to me before I asked."
Ah-ha! A switch. Whatever was that for?
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 12:57 pm (UTC)Tendencies? Great. Just great. Fifty Shades of Captain America Tony did not need to deal with. The paragon of virtue who did not even understand most of his references and fought him over spying on SHIELD was into chaining people up...
The toss of the glorified can opener caused Tony to jump. The at Steve felt along the chest cavity and under the arms... Shit. He was smart. He forgot about that part. Steve was incredibly smart in a practical sense.
"Okay... Okay you said you had a Guide during the war? Fine. How about I do that? Guidely duties. I keep you calm. And focused. And you don't touch or bond to me?"
He heard the switch depress and felt all of the joints loosen. The moment Steve tried to lift the chest plate off of him, Tony would try to use it to bludgeon his head in!
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 01:30 pm (UTC)He looked incredibly pleased at himself with that little click and the subtle shift in the pieces of the suit. Much better. It would save him the stupid amount of time of literally peeling every piece of the armor off of Tony.
Steve sighed, "It doesn't work, not really. It calms things down, sure, but it's not the same. It turns into an addiction, into a drug, you just want to be around them more and more. I can't work like that."
He yanked the armor of the man's legs first and it came off in full fledged pieces that he chucked in the same box. Perfect.
"Besides, it only delays the inevitable. It doesn't change me needing a Guide. He just died before we could bond." See Tony, now you made him unhappy. Everyone he ever cared about was dead. Was it any wonder he was so desperate for a Guide?
He went for the chest piece next and snarled when it cracked him in the head. He shook his head to clear it and grabbed it hard enough to dent the metal. The wall dented too, when it bounced off it and into the box.
"Are you trying to make me mad?" he demanded. His blue eyes were sharp and considering, "Or is that how you like it?"
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 01:39 pm (UTC)Tony did his best to get away, which ended up not very good at all. He curled his arms up over his face to protect himself, the metal no longer hinged together so he could finally move again. It certainly wasn't easy, of course. The pieces were still extremely heavy and slid off of him like cracked ice floating on water.
"I'm sorry you lost someone," Tony said with a desperation. "Lots of people died. It was war. I just need you to stop and think about what you're doing--"
So begging and trying to reason with Steve wasn't helping anything here! Tony rolled his hips back and kicked out to get the blond away from him. If they succeeded, he roll onto the floor and try to dash away to the door.
Yes. He knew it was locked. But maybe he could get it to open anyway?
"I like my bonding done consensually!"
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 02:06 pm (UTC)Steve was mostly discarding pieces as he reached for Tony. This was so much easier than forcing it off of him. The added challenge of the man trying to get away satisfied the Sentinel in him.
While he appreciated the platitudes, he didn't know that Tony actually meant it. He would say anything to keep Steve from forcibly bonding him. Unfortunately for Tony, the rest of the world was busy and SHIELD was turning a blind eye to this room.
He was thinking about what he was doing. He was claiming himself a Guide before there weren't any left. No one would challenge him for Tony. No one. He hunted him down fair square. Having such a spirited Guide to have fun with would be wonderful.
He grunted with the kick, surprised that it had enough force to unbalance him, and eyed Tony scrabbling at the door. It wasn't going to open.
"This is my guest bedroom," he said conversationally as he approached Tony. He looked like a predator stalking its prey when they know they've won. Toying with him. Relishing in the end of the hunt. "It's attached to my quarters at SHIELD. The door to the hallway is sealed like this too and the windows are barred. Even if you got out of here, there's nowhere to go."
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 02:44 pm (UTC)"What sort of guests do you have Rogers?" The guest room was filled with the strangest paraphernalia. This was definitely not your every day soldier barracks unless the military was a whole lot more kinky than Rhodey ever let on.
Rhodey.
If he could out of here, he could get word to his friend-- but that wouldn't work. He was a Sentinel too. And unbonded. If things were as bad as they seemed to be, Tony wouldn't be safe around any Sentinel.
Maybe he could get to Banner. But where was he? Back at the Tower? Did he bug out too?
Tony kept trying the door until he felt Steve stop. He was close. Too close. He pressed his body as far away as possible.
"Tell me what the safe word is." Maybe if he screamed it enough, the Sentinel would stop?

Date: 2016-02-29 03:22 pm (UTC)"Guides that SHIELD found that were willing to have less than conventional sessions," Steve waved a hand nonchalantly. It wasn't easy either and none of them were compatible enough to stay. It was fun and it helped a little, but it wasn't the same. It was never the same.
Steve didn't stop until he could put his hands on the door on either side of Tony's head and loom over him. The Guide was just short enough for that to be a possibility. The Sentinel in him loved it.
"Safe word?" he looked genuinely confused at the phrase. It was safe to say that it didn't exist and he didn't plan on using one.
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 03:45 pm (UTC)"You own a government sanctioned sex dungeon and you don't have safe words." Maybe he should have been more focused on dealing damage to Steve's genitals but he found the entire thing to be almost too funny.
He might even have laughed until Steve pressed his hands over his head. Tony immediately turned to duck out from under one arm.
There was no way in hell that he was going to be caught up against his only escape.
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 03:58 pm (UTC)"No, I don't," he shook his head and he smiled. Tony probably wouldn't like the look of it. Steve might not know the exact phrase but he could get the gist of it.
Steve grabbed him, reflexes stupidly fast and shoved him back up against the door. Tony wasn't going anywhere. He was Steve's plaything now. His nostrils flared, smelling the man and his fear. Tony could deny it but it was there.
"The problem with the serum is that sometimes? I need more than people think they can stand. More than they want to give," he explained and he followed it with a sigh. It was kind of disappointing. How was he supposed to feel good if someone tapped out before he was done?
"Having my own Guide fixes that problem."
no subject
Date: 2016-02-29 04:07 pm (UTC)The force of it took his breath away. Tony couldn't manage to say a word about his fear, not that he would deny it, but because he wasn't exactly the strongest man alive and he felt dizzy, like the air had been knocked out of his lungs.
Feeling Steve's breath against his ear was actually fairly helpful as he attempted to get back to his senses. "What makes you think I'll be able to give you want you want?"
Bonding wasn't mind control for a Guide. It did tend to make them more submissive, though... But that wasn't biological as much as something that came from sharing in the emotions of their Sentinel.
"You're not going to like what happens when you bond with someone that hates your fucking guts!"
Sucking in a breath, Tony tried to bring a knee up to catch Steve in the groin.
